Description
The SP8300C Protocol Analyzer is an innovative software defined test platform designed to enable testing of multiple wireless technologies protocol stack modules on mobile terminal/chipset side.

The SP8300C can simulate two cells simultaneously and perform TD-LTE/LTE FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE network emulation with a high integration level. The hardware platform is designed as a parallel testing with any RAT configuration. The flexibility of the platform establishes the SP8300C as the platform of choice for future wireless test technology.

SP8300C can be integrated with the SP6300 TD-SCDMA Protocol Analyze Tester as GERAN cells. The SP6300 can access the L1/L2 control by the open SP8300C GERAN API.

In the future release, SP8300C will offer an integrated development environment which is based on TTCN-3 to support LTE and LTE IRAT protocol testing or End-to-End testing. This mode is geared towards in-depth sub-layer testing, particularly useful for development of the protocol stack and for debugging integration using scripts for controlling testing procedures.

Function
SP8300C can provide a complete protocol test function such as TD-LTE, LTE FDD, GSM and GPRS/EDGE:

TD-LTE Test Function*
SP8300C can function as TD-LTE system simulator and TD-LTE terminal signal analyzer. Support terminal registration,paging,reselection and handover,etc.When cascaded with SP6300,it can support handover and cell reselection between LTE and TD-SCDMA.

LTE FDD Test Function
SP8300C can function as TD-LTE system simulator and TD-LTE terminal signal analyzer. This will be integrated in future release.

GSM/GPRS/EDGE Test Function
SP8300C GSM/GPRS/EDGE protocol test function supports frequency range stipulated by GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, GSM850 and so on. When SP8300C cascaded with SP6300, it also supports handover and cell reselection between TD-SCDMA and GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
